"Econic is a specialist in ground source heat pumps, air source heat pumps and water source heat pumps. We can design, supply, install and commission heat pump systems using a variety of energy collection methods including: horizontal slinky, vertical closed loop boreholes, open loop wells, pond loops and energy piles or thermopiles. We can carry out trial boreholes, thermal conductivity testing and thermal response testing where appropriate. We provide a full design service for heat pump systems including open and closed loop ground collectors. Our in-house capabilities include assessments for SAP, SBEM, BREEAM and the Code for Sustainable Homes.
We are members of the Ground Source Heat Pump Association (GSHPA) and the Renewable Energy Association (REA). We are certified heat pump installers under Microgeneration Certification Standard (MCS).
