Pictured above is the Powerplus Seal Solar Powered Weather Station. This device has a built in digital barometer which measures and displays changes in air pressure to give indicative local weather forecasting along with showing the current temperature (inside), humidity, and the time, and date.
The weather station is powered by a small integrated PV solar panel which charges an internal NiMH cell during a day which keeps the unit working through the night.
This is a very simple and fun to use device which gives surprisingly accurate weather forecasts. It is a bit let down by not having an external temperature sensor, but is otherwise a function rich and useful thing to have on your desk or mantelpiece.
