10MW Solar power station in Pocking, Germany

The world's biggest PV Solar Park has been commissioned in Pocking, Germany. Generating over 10MW of power, the 57 thousand mono and polycrstalline solar panels take up 32 hectares on the side of a hill in a former army reserve. The solar panels provide enough clean electricity to power around 3,000 homes and cut carbon dioxide emissions by over 10,000 tons. The whole project cost 40 million Euro.
